Dear friends, my name is Diane and I’m into singing (pop rock genre).
Well I’m quite new to the local music scene but surely most people know me as Lord Adder’s guitarist, Aldo Spiteri’s wife.
I have always been into the music scene, although behind the scenes for more than a decade supporting my husband in his songwriting and experimenting new techniques with his guitar. Being married to Aldo, has led my long term wish to start experimenting with my vocal talents approximately about 7 years ago thanks to the support of my family and close friends.
I am a very calm person, which I believe sometimes it can be quite a defect. On the other hand though I’m a really outgoing person, although sometimes a bit on the shy side.
My motto is a good laugh is always needed especially if it can make someone happy or at least ease a bit of pain maybe.
I also love animals a lot and share my home not only with my husband and our two young sons but also with a cat and a dog, which were both ex-strays.
Regarding, my music interests I have quite a long list of artists and bands which I admire, to mention a few there is Bon Jovi, Guns n’ Roses, etc.
Currently tracks by Fall Out Boy, Kings Of Leon,Katy Perry and Snow Patrol are amongst my favourite, but surely I admire Pink.
For me, I think Pink is a full complete artist, not only ‘cause of her vocal talents and music but also her image and attitude.
Back to my musical career, I started experimenting with R & B and latin style of music, till finally I found out the right style which fitted like glove for my particular voice that is pop rock.
As a solo artist with the aid of Aldo who compose my music and obviously with his guitar works, I compose the lyrical part of the tracks. This combination has finally led to my first single “Stronger Than Ever”.
Currently “Stronger Than Ever” is being played on various local radio stations and is also in the charts of some of local radio stations.
Time management is a very important factor for us to find time to care of our family and also gigging around in various clubs around the Maltese Islands.
At the moment I’m pretty busy working on the video clip of “Stronger Than Ever”, which hopefully will be released in the near future.
More information regarding this project will be available in due time.
Besides, I’m considering to form my own band together with my husband Aldo (more info coming up in the coming months).
Surely I would appreciate if I can steal 5 minutes of your precious time to listen to “Stronger Than Ever” and leave your honest opinions and comments.
